The beautifully cinematic new track from Bonnie Kemplay is ‘19’. The track was written during the pandemic and focuses on the idea of coming of age during a strange time. It’s an intensely personal track that feels vulnerable and emotional. Her gift for guitar melodies and nostalgic production really supports her intricate lyric writing. “I wrote 19 on and off over the span of six months,” she explains. “As my life shifted throughout that period of time, the lyrical content took shape in parallel to my experiences - so it ended up being about many things.
